Dr. Stephen Tygart announced his retirement on Thursday, September 30th, 2021.  His last day to practice medicine was on the same day of his announcement.  We have been grateful to have Dr. Tygart in our office in 2021 and are extremely grateful for his more than 3 decades of service to the women of our area.  If you have been a patient of Dr. Tygart, please take the time to read this important information regarding your care:
 

• Dr. Tygart is recommending that his patients stay with one of the providers at Advanced ObGyn.
   

• If you already have an upcoming appointment with Dr. Tygart in 2021 OR 2022, we will be contacting you regarding your appointment.  Depending on the physician you wish to see, we will do our very best to get you on the schedule at the same time as your current appointment.  However, if we can't get you on the schedule at the same time as your current appointment, we will work with you to find a time that works out with your schedule.  If you wish to see one of our physicians for your next appointment, we will already have your medical records at our office.  Advanced ObGyn has hired all of Dr. Tygart's former staff, so you'll be glad to see familiar faces working alongside our team of professionals!
   

• If for some reason you would like to see a physician outside of our practice, we are happy to send your medical records to the physician of your choosing.  Simply fill out a medical records release form on our website and return to our office.
